Gloria Ramirez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Ramirez, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas.

Gloria was born and raised in our community, where she lived a life marked by warmth, faith, and unwavering love for those around her. Known for her bright spirit and compassionate heart, Gloria had a unique ability to make everyone she encountered feel seen, valued, and loved.

She was preceded in death by her devoted parents: Gavino and Maximina Ramirez; her husband: Isidoro Hernandez; two sisters: Herlinda Barrera and Carmen Ramirez; and her cousin: Berta Ramirez.

Left to cherish her memory are her three brothers: Arturo Ramirez, Armando Ramirez, and Ricardo Ramirez; her four sisters: Maricella Ramirez, Yolanda Ramirez, Sylvia Ramirez, and Herminia Schweiner. Gloria is also survived by her former husband: Jesse Delgado, with whom she shared many years; and two beloved sons: Gavin Hernandez (Isabel Contreras) and Dylan Delgado (Sara Ramirez). Gloria’s children were the absolute joys of her life. Lastly, Gloria leaves behind her loyal fur baby, Skylee, who brought her constant comfort, joy, and companionship.

Gloria’s radiant smile, infectious laugh, and generous heart leave behind a lasting legacy of love and kindness. She devoted her life to her family and her faith and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

May Gloria rest in God’s eternal peace.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Compassion Church, 2862 Thousand Oaks Dr #4193, San Antonio, TX 78232, with a celebration of life from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. A funeral procession will follow going to First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073, where Gloria will be laid to rest.
