
She attended schools in Lake Charles and Paris, France, and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1938.
Active in the community throughout her life, she enjoyed memberships in the Bishop Elliott Guild at Christ Episcopal Church, San Antonio Junior League, Southwest Research Foundation Auxiliary, Ol' Shavano Chapter, D.A.R., Albert Sidney Johnston Chapter, U.D.C., Alamo Mission Chapter, D.R.T., and Girl Scouts Training Council.
Glory served many years on the board of the San Antonio Conservation Society and was elected an Honorary Member in 1993.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lafayette Camp Felder, Jr.; grandparents, Edmund and Florence Teel Haltom, and John Thomas and Catherine Perkins Henning; parents, John Lovejoy Henning and Josephine Haltom Henning; brother, John L. Henning, Jr. and sister, Josephine Lanier Jolan Henning.
Glory is survived by daughters, Glory Lee Bohne, Patricia Josephine Pat Lahtinen, Kathleen Felder Kathy Heath and husband Jim; and son, Lafayette Camp Larry Felder, III and wife Linda; grandchildren, Dana Bohne Nichols and husband Rick, Lory Lahtinen Simpkins and husband David; Robert Camp Felder, Rebecca Claire Felder, John Paul Felder, Adam Curry Gill and Aaron Philip Gill; great-grandchildren, Kayley and Kyle Simpkins; and nephews, Richard G. Henning, Haden Henning and John L. Henning, III. Glory was generous, gentle, and loving, beautiful outwardly and in spirit and soul, and passionately devoted to her church, family, friends and community. Although deeply missed, loving memories will keep her near.
