Dear Family,
I only knew jerry. He was a good friend of mine at Lee Jr. and Sr. High School. I was touched deeply by his untimely death when we were 16.

I offer to the family my heartfelt sympathy though the years have separated us.

Dear Marvin, Ira and Marc; 
With heavy hearts we are thinking of you and grieving with you for your precious mother and our special and much loved "Aunt Goldie". As children, we anxiously looked forward to Aunt Goldie's visits to New York and had tears in our eyes when it was time for her to return home to Texas. Her bright smile was contagious, and her genuine warmth, caring, concern, and words of advice were always so appreciated. Our children, despite having met Aunt Goldie only twice, immediately recognized her warmth and love for them, and they loved her so much in return. They often spoke about "Aunt Goldie's bear hugs" and repeatedly asked us "when are we going to Texas to visit her?". 
We will miss Aunt Goldie enormously and she will be in our hearts forever. May you all be comforted amongst the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and may our families only share joyous occasions together.

Dear Marvin, Ira and Marc; 
Our thoughts are with you at this time as we share in your sorrow. Your mom, our "Aunt Goldie", will always hold a very special and unique place in our hearts. Her smile, her laugh, her warmth and her genuine concern for us all, were cherished and will never be forgotten. She never missed sending a birthday card and when she, characteristically, signed, "Love ya, Aunt Goldie", we knew that she really did. Her presence at our family simchos always made them more special and we so appreciated her efforts to attend. May her memory be a blessing for all.

The Panzer's and the Becker/Dubrin's have been buddies since the 1940's when they met in San Antonio. Both Charlie and my Mom, Marilyn, celebrated their April birthdays together and simchas were shared by both families for 60 years. In these later years, Goldie was ever present for long phone calls and wise counsel and I will miss her. Warmest hugs to all the Panzers. love, Susan

Marvin, Ira, Marc, & family. My sincere condolences on the loss of your Mom, Goldie. Your Dad hired me for my first job at Ft. Sam Houston in 1971 and I worked for him for several years until his retirement. He was a great boss and your Mom was a very sweet lady. May God bless and comfort all of you in this time of sorrow.

Goldie was one of the finest people I have ever known. She was a wonderful friend. I deeply regret that I cannot attend the funeral but my thoughts are with you. May she rest in peace.

Panzer Family: I am so sorry for the loss of Goldie. May you console your grief to know she went home to be with the Lord where no pain or sorrow comes. I worked with yor dad for 30 years. We were very good friends and we would often talk about our sposes. Charlie always spoke so highly of Goldie. I remember the tragedy that happened to Jerome.It is always a very sad period when you loose someone dear to you. I lost my wife during 2007. God bless you all. Nolan J. Bartoskeitz

Dear Marc, Ira & Marvin I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I grew up on the corner of Edgebrook & Neer across the street from where Jerome and Ira were during that storm. Yes I was watching out the windows that day. Jerome and Charles are now with Goldie. God's blessing be with you all.
