“Best Mom Ever.” Goldie Darlene Rotondi passed away on July 18, 2021 at the age of 94 years. She never met a stranger. Mom was a positive force amongst her family and friends. She was known for her beautiful smile, the light in her eyes, her selflessness and generosity. She dearly loved her God, Jehovah and wanted all to know him too. She dedicated her life to him in May 1958.
Goldie met and married Frank J. Rotondi in 1946. They were married for 53 years, until his death. They had three daughters, Sally Blaschke (Ed), Cathy Rotondi and Diane Drexler (John). She showered them with love; and they along with so many other loved ones will miss her terribly.
Her faith was based firmly on God’s word, The Bible. Of the many Bible truths she cherished, one she enjoyed sharing with others is the hope she had in the resurrection. Goldie believed what is written at Acts 24:15. For her, the conclusion was inescapable. We are all dependent on the resurrection for any hope of future life. She and all of us girls are confident that she is now in Jehovah God’s memory, peacefully waiting for the resurrection.
Goldie is survived by her three daughters, 7 grandchildren, Darcee Grivel, Tanya Brown, Trey Mannix, Brandy Mabry, Tim Spears, Deanna Spears, Misti Spears, many great and great great grandchildren, and sister, Fern Dillion.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Frank, Mother; Ida, sister; Grace; and brother, Bob.
A Zoom Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 6pm on Zoom. Please contact John Drexler for more information (210)834-1262.
