

A beautiful wife, mother, sister, grandma, aunt, cousin and friend, Grace Robledo Ochoa, age 61 of San Antonio, Texas; born June 10, 1951 was peacefully received into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on December 31, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Josie and Felix Robledo. A truly devoted Christian, Grace walked in the light of Jesus by helping, influencing and touching the hearts of everyone she encountered. Grace truly was the definition of her name, "an underserved gift from God." Grace lived a full and courageous faith filled life following these words of wisdom, "I may have cancer, but cancer does not have me!"
As a young lady, Grace was a devoted member of St. Stevens Catholic Church women's choir. She graduated from Burbank High School in 1969 and attended San Antonio College. She pursued a career in Civil Service working at Fort Sam Houston Army Base from 1978 to 1983, Kelly Air Force Base from 1983 to 1992 and Lackland Air Force Base from 1992 to 2008. With hard work, dedication and perseverance, coupled with numerous work related awards and citations, Grace rose through the ranks and deservingly earned the grade of a GS-11 and the title of "Database Manager of Psychology Research Services." To have known Grace is to have known Love. She was truly a blessing in all of our lives.
Grace is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Lee R. Ochoa, Sr.; daughter, Stefanie O. Perez (Louie); son, Lee R. Ochoa, Jr.; brother, Robert Robledo; sisters, Carmen Robledo, Joyce R. Pattee (John), Nancy Jo R. VanVolkenburg (Terry), Jeanette R. Martinez (Noel) and Veronica Robledo; grandchildren Joshua, Isaiah and Lauryn Ochoa Perez; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 9th, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel.
