Born in Oklahoma County to William John and Blanche Ruth Sharpe, Grace Ellen "Gracie" Potts was raised among the Wheatland farming community and spoke fondly of both her own family's farm and her great-uncle's farm which was just across the street and maintained in a traditional central European style by her grandmother and grandfather.
Gracie graduated from O.U. and worked as a teacher, grant writer and office manager for over 35 years.
She is survived by her three sons, whom she deeply loved, Bryan Potts wife Audrey of San Antonio, Kent Potts of Baton Rouge, and Blake Potts wife Courtney of Little Rock, and spent time with all of them on her final day.
She also adored her surviving grandchildren: Lindsay Potts, Brandon Potts, and Mallory Potts, of San Antonio; Jasper Potts and Cicely Potts of Little Rock. She is also survived by her siblings William "Billy" Sharpe and Kathy Notley, both of the OKC metro area.
Gracie was exceptionally kind to her numerous pets, was an excellent bridge player, and enjoyed the lighter side of life in many special ways.
