Grace Edna Russell

She was born July 20, 1924, in San Antonio to Thomas and Adeline Liedecke Wright. On December 22, 1942, she married her husband of 40 years, John A. Russell. One of her favorite pastimes was watching the San Antonio Spurs games.

Grace retired from USAA and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her first born, Vivian Maureen.

Survivors include her son, John R. Russell and wife Theresa; daughter, Marilyn A. Bradley and husband Carl; daughter, Janice M. Oliva and husband Frank; son, James G. Russell and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Tracey L. Barr, Erin E. Russell, Brien T. Russell, Megan M. Russell, Christine M. Budden, John M. Russell, Matthew F. Oliva, James K. Russell, Zachary G. Oliva; and five great-grandchildren, Harper Rose, Aubrey, Lyvia, Bryce, and Benjamin.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
