Grace Camacho Sanchez

Grace Camacho Sanchez, 68, left us on Thursday, January 28, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. Grace was born to the late Jose and Aurora Camacho on October 27, 1952. Grace was not only an elegant name, but an extremely fitting one, as well, because she moved with it every day.

She married her best friend, Sgt Joe G. Sanchez, and went on to create a beautiful family and love filled life.

For 15 years she spent her days brightening the lives of children as a full-time bus driver for NISD. Anyone who knew her knew she loved a cold beer and her Spurs.

She was a wife, mother and friend to all. On her journey through life, she spent her time at family gatherings, traveling and bowling.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Aurora Camacho; her husband, Sgt Joe G. Sanchez.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie SaMay Tapia and her husband Octavio Tapia Jr., Tatianna Chanel Sanchez, Joseph C. Sanchez III and his wife Chrystal Gale Sanchez, Sabrina D. Sanchez and friend Ernesto Veliz; her grandchildren Izabella M. Sanchez, Xavier G. Sanchez, Caleb A. Boykin, Joseph A. Sanchez IV; her sisters and brothers, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.
