Grace Maxine White, age 87, went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2011. She was born on September 28, 1924 in Verdi, Texas to Alsa and Grace Brite. Maxine graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1942. She was a member of Eisenhauer Rd. Baptist Church where she taught Pre-K for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, John E. White; her parents; sister, Lee Hollis and brother, Roy Brite. Survivors include her children, Steve White, Rhonda Alexander and husband Gene; grandchildren, Jill Daniel and husband Jordan and Katie Alexander as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, December 5, 2011 from 5-8pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 11:00am at Eisenhauer Rd. Baptist Church, 3950 Eisenhauer Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78218. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park.
