

She is survived by her parents, Mariano H. & Ninfa C. Garcia; children, Adam Lance Sexton and Lauren Grace Palitza; grandson, Zion Lance Lomeli; brothers, Mariano H. Garcia, Jr (Stella), Mario Hector Garcia, Dagoberto Garcia and Rigoberto Garcia (Adriana); nephews and nieces, Deydra Garcia, Khiandra J. Garcia, Duran Garcia, Kelsy R. Garcia, Danae Garcia, Devin R. Garcia, Derek D. Garcia, Sofia Garcia, Darren A. Garcia, Rigo Garcia, Jr., Mario Garcia, Gabby Garcia, Ali Garcia and Christian Garcia and great niece, Kataleya L. Mendez.
Gracie was born in Laredo, Texas but was raised and spent her childhood in Encinal, Texas. She worked for many years in banking with Security Service. She enjoyed to dance, attend baseball games and the SA Rodeo, photography and making arts and crafts. She loved to cook and bake sweets and most of all be surrounded by her family. She will be truly missed but never forgotten.
A visitation for Gracie will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM at El Carmen Catholic Church, 18555 Leal Rd, 78221 with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
