Graciela Angel

Graciela was born August 2nd, 1971 in El Paso, Texas to Juan and Rafaela Murillo. She was the youngest of seven children. Because of the age gap between her and her siblings, Graciela always felt alone until she met her lifetime partner Fabian Angel while attending Irving High School. They were inseparable. They quickly built a family together with three beautiful girls, Monique, Selina, and Nicole. During the girl's childhood, Graciela and Fabian moved back and forth between El Paso, Texas and Kansas City, Missouri. While in Kansas City, Graciela landed a job with Southwestern Bell, which is now known as AT&T. During the name transition, Graciela was given the opportunity to transfer to San Antonio, Texas, in which she agreed to be closer to parents. Graciela and Fabian started their lives in San Antonio in 1998 and moved into their first and permanent home in 2001.

Graciela became a grandma to her first grandchild in 2013. She had a total of four beautiful grandkids (Bella, Christopher, Kaydn, and Kaliya) with a fifth one on the way. Her grandkids were the center of her world. She cared for them almost every weekend since their birth and felt bad whenever she missed a weekend with them.

Graciela’s family was her everything. She loved the togetherness. Not just her immediate family, but with her extended family too. She’d open her house to anyone that needed a place to stay and made them feel at home. She made them feel safe. She made them feel loved.

Graciela was the sweetest person ever. Her heart never ran out of love, her hands never stopped helping others, and her smile never stopped shining no matter the many worries she had. Graciela’s warmth and love will never be forgotten and our lives will truly never be the same without her.

We love you mom. We love you grandma. We love you Grace.

The family will receive guests from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2024 at Porter Loring Mortuary West.
