

Born on June 3, 1939, in La Villita, Zacatecas, Mexico, Graciela was the daughter of Isidoro Romo and Maria Villarreal. She grew up alongside her sister, Delia Viramontes, her only sibling.
Graciela was a devoted mother to nine children, seven daughters and two sons. Happily married to the love of her life, Lupe Munoz, with whom she shared many years of devotion and partnership, and she later lived as a widow for 19 years, carrying his memory in her heart. Her greatest pride and joy were her family. Her home served as the heart of her life: a place filled with warmth, care, and constant welcome. She expressed her love through everyday acts of service that touched all who entered her door.
Her deep faith was the foundation of her busy life. It guided her actions and gave meaning to all she did. Known for her compassion and generosity, Graciela lived out her beliefs through acts of charity and kindness. She remained ever attentive to the needs of her neighbors and those less fortunate.
Graciela’s legacy is one of love, humility, and selfless devotion to God, family, and community. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her.
