Gregory Lee Morales

Gregory L. Morales, age 56, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. A truly devoted husband, father, grandfather (Popo), son, brother, uncle and friend. Born July 22, 1967 to Gregorio Morales and Dora Ann Perez Morales.

He is survived by his loving wife, Celia Luna Morales, daughter Nicole Ashley Morales (son-in-law Ralph Blanquiz) and son Joshua Anthony Morales; grandchildren Nevaeh Morales, Zoe Morales, Ezrah Alexander Blanquiz, Bryson Morales, Bentley Adon Morales and Randy Tyler Blanquiz; parents Gregorio Morales and Dora Ann Perez Morales; brother George Anthony Morales; sister Grace Yvette Morales Ramirez (brother-in-law Tomas Ramirez); and numerous godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.

Greg lived life to the fullest! He loved music, movies, traveling and his country, above all. He always had a smile on his face and was the life of every party. He loved deeply, cared passionately and his family and friendships meant the world to him. He was loyal, devoted, courageous and unyielding. He was a Big Brother to many, a Father Figure (Papa Bear) to many, and a Best Friend to many. He will be forever missed and loved.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 29, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218, with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 210 St. Ann Street, San Antonio, Texas 78201. Burial service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78209.

A reception will follow at St. Paul Community Center, 1201 Donaldson Ave., San Antonio, TX 78228. All are welcome and appreciated.
