Gregory Lawrence Tatum

Gregory Lawrence Tatum, age 74, passed away on November 23, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on June 13, 1948, in Reidsville, North Carolina to his parents, Ruth and Billie Tatum. He married Melba December 30, 1979. Gregory was a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus, the Knights of Peter Claver, and was President of The National Bowlers Association of San Antonio. He was proceeded in death by his younger sister Alice, his younger brother Billie, and his loving wife of 42 years Mary Melba Tatum. Gregory is survived by his daughter, Nicole S. Tatum, his son Gregory L. Tatum II and partner Bianca Perez, grandkids Aaliyah, Adrianna, and Gregory III, his sisters Donna and Jacqueline, niece Arianna, and nephew Christopher. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary. A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wed., Dec 14, 2022 at Porter Loring Mortuary. Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thurs., Dec. 15, 2022 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church,1819 Nevada St. Fr. Kevin will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
