Griffin Tucker, Jr. was born on November 28, 1947 to the late Griffin Tucker, Sr. and Luealla Tucker in Duncan, Mississippi. He departed his life on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by 5 of his siblings.
Griffin is survived by his sisters Rosie Mae Love (Robert) of Dallas, TX, Lillie Cooper Tucker and Savannah Tucker of Birmingham, AL; brothers, Ronald Tucker of Birmingham, AL, Donald Tucker (Joanne) of Atlanta, GA, Lonnie Tucker (Sheryl) of Boston, MA, Cecil Tucker of Birmingham, AL and Kevin Tucker; daughter, Tonya Wuestney and grandchildren, Keith “Brooks” Tucker, Jayla Tucker, and Jeovani Tucker.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 6-9pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX, 78218. A Graveside Service celebrating Griffin’s life will take place at 11:30am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, TX, 78209.
