Guadalupe B. Alvarado

Guadalupe B. Alvarado born September 5, 1930 in Cuidad Valles, San Luis Potosi Mexico went to be with the Lord on May, 27, 2018 at the age of 87. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. Alvarado whom she married on December 16, 1963 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Guadalupe is also preceded in death by her parents, Juan Briseño Mesa and Candelaria Cardenas Briseño; brother, Eduvijes Briseño and sister, Maria D. Sandoval. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Louis A. and Julie Alvarado, Rosario A. and Jaime Gomez, Ruth A. and Tawfiq Alyawer, Hector Alvarado, Raquel Alvarado; 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; 3 brothers, Felix Briseño (San Juan, TX), Jose Paz Briseño (Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas) and Juan Carlos Briseño (San Juan, TX); 2 sisters, Andrea B. Ramirez (San Juan, TX) and Leticia B. Ruiz (Saltillo, Coahuila). Guadalupe was proud member of the Guadalupana’s at San Alphonsus Catholic Church. Visitation will begin 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 am Monday, June 4, 2018 for a 10:00 am Mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment to follow in San Fernando No.2 Cemetery.
