The Lord has called his son Guadalupe L. Alvizo to join him and his departed wife Theresa Alvizo on August 20, 2011 at the age of 80. He is survived by his children and their spouses; Manuel C. and Gloria Parra, Sylvia and John Jurasin, Janie A. Alvizo, Richard C. and Lisa Alvizo; grandchildren, Efraim Tovar, Melissa Parra, Melinda Parra-Rocha, Shannon Suarez, Theresa Alvizo, Ezekiel Alvizo and Roman Alvizo; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Audelia Robledo; sister-in-law, Andrea P. Alvizo; brother-in-law, Roque and Frances Closner; Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Arguello; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2011 at the funeral home. Viewing will continue 9:30a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Resurrection of the Lord, 7990 West Military Drive with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Somerset, TX
