Guadalupe "Rudy" Cantu, age 65, loving husband, devoted father and beloved grandfather, was called home by the Lord on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in San Antonio. He was born in Donna, Texas to Victoriano and Natalia Cantu. He was a generous, God fearing man who will be remembered as hard working, full of life, and devoted to his family. He will be greatly missed but forever remembered. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Connie Cantu; son, Michael Cantu and wife, Shara; daughters: Lenida Spurlock and husband, Mike, Christy Garcia, Leslie Vasquez and husband, Christopher; grandchildren: Troy, Lilianna, Gabriella, Olivia, Ava, Christian, Savannah, Zane, Arabella, Lucas, Zoe and Lyric; siblings, Victor Cantu, Terry Ruiz, Diana Hernandez, Elvia Wagner, Sonia Siebert and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 21, 2015, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
