Guadalupe Infante

Guadalupe Infante, age 72, of San Antonio, Texas, entered eternal rest on July 1, 2026, following a life marked by steadfast devotion to family and pride in honest work. Born November 14, 1953, in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico, Guadalupe was the son of Mario Infante and Elena Infante Martinez.

Throughout his professional life, Guadalupe dedicated himself to the skilled trade of welding, a profession he took great pride in and approached with unwavering diligence. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady hands, and commitment to doing every job with care and precision.

Beyond his work, Guadalupe lived a life rooted in faith, humility, and gratitude. He carried himself with quiet strength and a gentle spirit, appreciating life's simple pleasures rather than seeking recognition or extravagance. He found spiritual renewal and fellowship through attending Cursillo retreats, where his faith was strengthened and cherished friendships were formed. In his free time, he enjoyed watching movies, whether sharing them with loved ones or simply relaxing after a long day. He also found peace and contentment in taking long walks, embracing the opportunity to reflect, enjoy nature, and appreciate the calm moments life offered.

At the heart of Guadalupe's life was his family, especially the enduring love he shared with his beloved wife, Gloria Infante Montalvo. Together they built a marriage founded on love, faith, mutual respect, and unwavering devotion. For 35 wonderful years, they stood side by side through life's joys and challenges, creating a home filled with love, support, and treasured memories. Their partnership was a constant source of strength and happiness, and Gloria remained the love of his life and his greatest companion.

Guadalupe is survived by his children: José Guadalupe Infante, Mario Gilberto Infante (Julia Infante), Gloria Patricia Infante, and Eva Elena Infante. He is also survived by his siblings: Maria Leticia Infante, Julián Infante (Refugio Infante), Jesús Roberto Infante (Isabel Infante), Mario Manuel Infante (Juana Maria Infante), and Mónica Nelly Martinez (Luis Martinez); and by his grandchildren; Isabel Lillian Herrera, Marylin Grace Infante, Heleen Gloria Infante, Lucas Mateo Infante, Frankie Sierra, and Joseph Daniel Sierra, along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria Infante Montalvo; his parents, Mario Infante and Elena Infante Martinez; his brother, Carlos Enrique Infante; and his sister, Juana Alicia De La Cerda.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on Monday July 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.

A Processional will depart from the funeral home at 9:20 am for a Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday July 14, 2026 at 10:00 am, then proceed for Burial at Mission Burial Park, 1700 SE Military Dr
