OBITUARY
Guadalupe P. Tapia
January 14, 1925 – November 24, 2018
Guadalupe Pacheco Tapia, age 93, of San Antonio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2018. He was born January 14, 1925 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Juan and Alvina (Pacheco) Tapia. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WW II. He married Mary Louise Botello on May 11, 1952, together they would raise a family of 5 children in San Antonio, Texas.
He is preceded in death by parents - Alvina and Juan Tapia; sisters - Mary Gutierrez, Eloisa Morales and Elena Vargas; brothers - Henry Tapia, Gilbert Tapia, Benny Tapia, Raul Tapia and Mike Tapia. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Mary Louise Tapia, Son - Robert Tapia; Daughters - Viola Hunt, Dora Dennis (George), Norma Garcia (Roland), Bertha Saucedo (Marty) Grandchildren - Nathan Hunt, Michelle Garcia, Quinton Saucedo, Leah Saucedo; Great grandchild - Keegan Hunt, Brother - Frank Tapia(Diana) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family is receiving friends on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Reciting the Rosary will commence at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate Drive on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00 am. Graveside services with Military Honors are private.
