He received his Engineering degree at The University of Texas at Austin. Upon graduation he worked as a licensed Civil Engineer. Subsequently, he transitioned into the business world.
He was an avid reader, enjoyed music, studying history and watching sports.
Guillermo was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Alberto Ochoa and Gustavo Ochoa; and his son; Dr. Miguel E. Ochoa.
He is survived by his wife, Estefania Paparelli Ochoa; his children, Guillermo Ochoa-Cronfel, Sophia Martinez (Guillermo), Ricardo Ochoa, Daniela Ochoa; and grandchildren, Zachary Ochoa and Blake Ochoa.
