Guswin "Gus" Wieters

August 14,1933 – October 14, 2024

Born in Zuehl Texas to Henry Wieters and Minnie Krahn Wieters.

His beloved Gerry M. Wieters and daughter Donna L. White preceded him in death.

He is survived by Daughters: Mindy Hegenauer, Heidi Kramer, and Sandra Grasser. Son Terry Wieters, Grandson Jordan Wieters, Daughter in law Eleanor Wieters, Granddaughter Beverly Camp, Great Grandsons Marty Garcia and Mike Garcia. Additionally, he is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.

After graduation from Brackenridge High School, he joined the US Army. Upon his discharge he worked for Southern/Union Pacific Railroad.

After his retirement, he enjoyed restoring and showing his beloved Thunderbirds cars.

He belonged to several organizations including Northeast Alliance of San Antonio, Mason’s Lodge, Herman Sons as well as Past President of Perrin Park Homeowners Association and T-Bird Club of San Antonio.

He will be missed by his favorite pet and companion Kati.

The Family would like to express gratitude to Sacred Mission Hospice, for their loving, caring, and continued support. Dr. May, Misol, Ana, Jill, Brittany, Vivian, Vanessa, Ashley and Spiritual Counselor Linda.
