

Guy Dane Wade was born January 9th, 1967, in Panama City, the Republic of Panama to the parents of Jean Codrington and Leroy Vincent Michel. In 1976, Wilmer Wade and Jean H. Codrington joined in matrimony and moved the new family of three to Ft. Hood, TX. The Lone Star state introduced Guy to his future love, American football. Guy was not only a standout player throughout middle school and high school, he also joined ROTC. His military roots would later lead him into service under the National Guard. Guy graduated from the New Jersey high school of Pemberton Township on January 20th, 1986. He received a football scholarship from Pennsylvania’s Lock Haven University. After 4yrs of college, Guy graduated as a brother of Phi Beta Sigma Inc. with a Bachelors of Arts & Science. He furthered his academic studies by achieving graduate degrees, in both French and Spanish. Once his collegiate and military endeavors were completed, Guy transitioned from the Northeast to Atlanta, Georgia. As a security manager, Guy excelled at several organizations, such as MCI, Perimeter Mall, etc… In 2014, Guy took his talents to Puerto Rico performing private security for Panton Capital Holdings.
Guy Dane Wade was granted his wings on April 25, 2016 in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the age of 49. Survived by his parents Wilmer Wade & Jean H. Wade; his brothers Wilmer Wade Junior, Babu Michel, Aldo Michel, Luis Michel, Giovani Michel, Robert Michel, & Roy Michel; and his sisters Danica Wade, Damaris Michel, Diorbeth Michel, Thalia Michel, Kimberly Michel, Thamika Michel, & Giani Michel. His heart was filled with unconditional love and compassion and his personality was full of life. From his radiant smile to his flawless dance moves, you knew when Guy was in a room. To his very last breath, Guy loved his family and his family loved him. “He was the best son any mother could ask for.”Guy was a man of great faith whose faith never wavered. While Guy’s life on earth with us ended too soon, for those who know Guy, understand he lived life to the fullest and, most importantly, he never questioned God’s will. While we mourn our loss of a great man today, we find solace in knowing he is with his Lord and Saviour.
Remember… God’s favor is with us! Because our enemies tried but could not destroy us! We are still living... still blessed! Let’s continue to speak loudly regarding Guy’s extraordinary life and how his life changed and made an enormous impact on ours. Let’s thank God for giving us an opportunity to experience greatness… Because we all know that Guy was and will be one of the greatest people that we will ever know! Guy is looking down on us right now with that enormous smile! There is nothing that can take his face of laughter out of our memory! Guy will be missed but always loved.
