'Bill, Jennifer and I first met Gwen when we moved to El Greco Ave. in Ft. Worth in 1974. We were neighbors and soon became fast friends. Our family has many happy memories of birthdays, holidays and everyday days with Gwen, Dawn and Deane during the time we were living in Ft. Worth. We were thrilled to be able to attend Gwen's and Leo's wedding and no one was more deserving of this happiness than Gwen. The Air Force moved us on to new assignments, but we have kept up over the years at Christmas and a few visits. Gwen was a thoughtful, caring person, a great mother and a loyal friend. While I did not see her often, it is hard to fathom she is gone and no longer just a phone call away. Our thoughts and prayers are with Leo, Dawn, Deane and all the family.'

I was heart broken to hear of Gwen's passing. She was such a great co-worker and friend to me. She always kept me smiling and had something funny to say even in the worst of days. I loved her sense of humor and the way she looked at life. Thanks to her, I was able to move up at work and was fortunate enough to follow in her foot steps. She always had my back and kept pushing me to be better and dream big. I have grown and learned so much because of her. She will be truly missed.

'Gwenn was a wonderful person, my heart broke when we received the news of her passing. She was one of the people who helped me some 20 years ago when I received a promotion into a position I knew little about. Gwenn took me under her wing, was patient, kind, and so very knowledgeable, I would have had a very difficult time navigating that promotion with out her. She made a difference to me and I've never forgotten her kindness all these years. We kept in touch while she was still working at FSI, she always spoke about her Grandbabies and family and you could hear the joy and love in her voice when she did, which always made me smile.
