Harold L. Morris of San Antonio passed away on September 12, 2002 at the age of 74. He was born in Chilton County, Alabama on January 27, 1928 to Durvie and R.C. Morris. He joined the Alabama National Guard in 1944 and later transferred to the Army Air Corps in 1946. He retired from the United States Air Force in June 1970. Harold was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Wayne, both parents, a sister, Myra and brother Amos. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Eva Morris; daughter, Colleen Edgecomb and husband, Raymond of San Antonio; son, Harold Pete and wife, Laurie of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Mabel of Montgomery, AL; brother, Virgil of Verneba, AL. Harold worked until he became ill for the law firm of David Carter and later for his son Paul Carter.
