Harold “Mack” Sanders was born November 1, 1934 in Shawnee, OK, and passed away August 13, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett “Sandy” Sanders and Ruby Sanders, and his beloved brother, Dwight Everett Sanders.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Patsy; his son Russell and his wife Francesca and grandchildren Carmen and Jake; his son Rick and his wife Gosia and grandchildren Oscar and Hannah; and daughter Jill and her husband Joe and grandchildren Sarah and Patrick.
Mack worked for the Rock Island Railroad, later the United Pacific Railroad, for 42 years. He was a resident of Johnson City, TX for the last 15 years, where he was involved in the community.
A memorial service will be held at Johnson City First United Methodist Church on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 2 pm.
