

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Margaret Wilkins who were Officers in the Salvation Army; brother, Doug Wilkins; and sister, Jean Cox Westphal.
He leaves behind his beloved wife and soul mate of 62 years, Leona "Lee" Wilkins; his daughters: Linda Dale Miller, Laura Dave Murday, Margie Nelson Froboese, Mary Glenn Paul Malone, and Rebecca Baldemar Hinojosa; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Hal was a World War II Veteran, serving as First Lieutenant in the US Army Air Corp and was employed with Westinghouse and White Consolidated Industries for 37 years, retiring as President of WCI's Major Appliance Division. Hal will be remembered most as a man of strong faith and deep love for his family.
A private military service was held Friday, August 6, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
