Harriet Brownlee Johnson, of San Antonio, TX, died Monday, December 10, 2001. She was born Harriet Brownlee on January 17, 1903, in Stockholm, Wisconsin, to Ella and Harry Brownlee, was educated at Carlton College, Northfield, Minnesota, and married James C. Johnson in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1934. Mrs. Johnson taught school for 31 years in various Minnesota high schools, as well as serving as Principal at Elk River Minnesota High School and 8 years at a branch of the University of Minnesota at Morris. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969 and one brother, Elliot Brownlee of Santa Barbara, California. Survivors include: daughter, Susie Birdsong and husband, Henry, of Tarpley, TX and 3 grandchildren, James Miller and wife, Jonna of Houston, TX, Jodi Ramirez and husband, Eduardo, of The Woodlands, TX and Jeffrey Miller and wife, Leslie, of San Antonio, TX and 2 great grandchildren, Nicolas and Thais Ramirez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Johnson was a member of AAUW, Pen Group, PEO and First Presbyterian Church in St. Cloud, MN
