Although Mother faced many serious health problems in her life, her response to everyone was always the same. She would smile and say that she was fine. She never complained or felt sorry for herself.
She was kind, considerate, and thoughtful to the end. We may have lost our precious Nonnie, but God called home a true Angel.
Mother was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sue Bartholomew, all of her siblings, and her beloved husband, Joe.
Survivors include her four children, Joe and Patty Sirianni of Verona, Wisconsin, George and Mary Elizabeth Sirianni, Cindy and Bill Kattmann, Louis and Elizabeth Sirianni, all of San Antonio, Texas. Additional survivors include one brother-in-law, Richard Brewer of Plano, Texas, two sisters-in-law, Theresa Catalani of San Antonio, Texas and Evangeline Sirianni of Converse, Texas. In addition, a nephew, Roy Lange of Woodstock, Georgia and nieces Harriet Linz of Plano, Texas, Marti McAllister of Houston, Texas, and Lorelei Topperwein of Helotes, Texas.
The true lights of her life were her grandchildren. She and Papa attended as many of their grandchildren's academic and sporting events as was humanly possible. She was a member of the Churchill Booster Club, the Texas A&M Mothers' Club, and the San Francesco di Paola Altar and Rosary Society, where she served as an officer for many years. Additionally, she was past president of the PTA at each of the schools her children attended and named Little League Mother of the Year for her outstanding volunteer work.
Her pallbearers will be her grandsons, Robert Sirianni, Joe F. Sirianni III and
Charles Sirianni of Verona, Wisconsin, Richard Kattmann of San Antonio, Texas, Louis and Nick Sirianni of College Station, Texas, and Michael Garver of Frisco, Texas. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Virginia Kattmann Garver of Frisco, Texas, Sara and Susie Sirianni of Verona, Wisconsin, Lisa Sirianni of Corpus Christi, and Julie Sirianni of San Antonio, Texas.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Rudy Molina and Dr. Richard Ferguson for the extra thoughtfulness they gave to Nonnie.
Our most heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Sherwyn Schwartz who oversaw all of her medical needs for over two decades.
Fortunately, Nonnie was blessed with many good caregivers over the years and had a true guardian angel in Mary Hernandez.
