He was born September 11, 1927, in Fargo, Oklahoma, to the late Charles and Ruby Paris.
Harvey served his country in the US Marine Corps for 16 years. His sense of duty and willingness to serve others carried over into his 24 year career with the California Highway Patrol. He proudly reached the rank of Sergeant with both organizations.
Harvey is lovingly survived by his wife of 39 years, Judith Paris; children, Joseph Bryan Paris and wife, Debra, Joanne Elizabeth Harig and husband, Alan, Robert R. Paris and wife, Jennifer and Tim J. Paris and wife, Patty; grandchildren, Alexa Sparklin, Amber and Ashley Harig, Jake, Bryan and Kristin Paris; great-grandchildren, Pyper and Ryder Sparklin; his Minpin, Sassy; many nieces and nephews.
