Hassan Gholi Shiran

Hassan Shiran, age 41, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on Monday, August 26, 2024. Hassan was a cherished member of the San Antonio community, known for his vibrant spirit, compassion, and unwavering love for his friends and family.

Born in San Antonio, Texas on January 26, 1983, Hassan made San Antonio his home, where he built a life filled with joy and camaraderie. He was a proud member of the gay community and found great joy in the lively and welcoming atmosphere of the bars on North Main Street, just north of Downtown San Antonio. Hassan was known for his infectious laughter, warm personality, and his ability to make everyone feel included and appreciated.

Hassan's love for life was evident in everything he did. He had a passion for music, dancing, and connecting with others, often bringing people together and creating lasting memories. His kindness, humor, and open heart touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his loving family, to include his mother, Norma Saggu (Dhalwinder) and father, Ghasem Shiran; siblings Veronica Boyle (Richard), Harvey Shiran (Lindsey), Ali Shiran, and Jon David Shiran; nieces and nephews, Gavin and Owen Boyle and Sullivan, London, and Sawyer Shiran; as well as numerous extended family members and a lifetime of friends. Hassan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Saul and Rebecca Adame and Hassan Gholi and Kabutar Shiran; aunt, Mary Jane Roman Adame and uncle, Tommy Adame.

Hassan will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain a shining light in the San Antonio community and beyond.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Porter Loring Mortuary.
