Hazel Lee Baurnfind

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Max H. Baurnfind (on 10/29/2008); father, James M. Young; mother, Mamie L. Young; and brothers Clarence and George M. Young.

Hazel was born in Mercedes, Texas, graduated from Sundeen High School in Corpus Christi, Texas, and attended the University of Corpus Christi. Hazel worked in the medical field, insurance industry, as well as worked as a church secretary. Hazel was active at her church, Shearer Hill Baptist. Hazel enjoyed photography (known for always being behind the camera and scrapbooking the pictures she took). She also loved music, which was an important part of her worship.

As she invited Jesus into her heart as a teenager, she would like for you to experience that same joy that she came to know in her life. She invites you to open your Bible to John 3:16 and read: "Where all who believe on Jesus can be saved and have everlasting life". That everlasting life she now knows and is experiencing with Jesus in Heaven and each of those who preceded her in death, especially Max who was at heaven's gates welcoming her home.

Celebration of life for Hazel will be August, 24th at 11:00am at Shearer Hills Baptist Church.
