Hector Aranda Garcia

Hector Aranda Garcia, born on December 2, 1950 went to be with our Lord on July 27, 2019 at the age of 68. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Daniel V. and Noemi A. Garcia; sister, Martha Garcia. Hector is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sylvia R. Garcia; children, James Garcia (Becky), Ty Garcia (Jenn) and Roger Rodriguez. His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Joshua Jaymes Garcia, Ty Daniel Garcia, Isa Dai Garcia, Alyse Marie Gibson and Mitchell Ryan Mantzke; siblings, Grace Olivarri (John), Rosalinda Marquez and Daniel Garcia (Terri); numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Hector’s favorite time other then fishing or watching golf tournaments, was spending time with his family. Being an awesome cook, he enjoyed cooking Sunday family breakfast. He was a diehard Washington Redskins fan. The Garcia family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Methodist Hospital, especially Deb and Joshua Martinez. A very special thank you to his cousins, Cecelia Ramirez, Sonia and Steve Cerda, who were always there for him. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, August 2, 2019 at San Juan de los Lagos Catholic Church at 1:30 p.m. Services will conclude at the church.
