Hector Ricardo Brun

Hector Ricardo Brun (Rick) was the CEO and majority shareholder of HR Brun and Company, Inc., a construction company that is involved in residential housing, government contracts, medical facility renovations and commercial renovations in shopping centers, malls and improvements to various franchise businesses.

In 2001, Rick initiated HR Brun and Company, Inc., to begin his journey in the construction and contracting business.

Rick initiated the company to also get involved with SBAs Mentor and Portege program, which also enable the company to jointly participate with Mentor in a newly formed Joint Venture (JJBrun Joint Venture LLC) to obtain large government contracts throughout the United State for the next five years.

Beginning in 2015, Rick initiated the company to begin residential construction in the Canyon Lake area constructing and selling 10 homes. Currently, 8 new Approx 3600 sq. ft. homes are being constructed in the Timberwood subdivision, The Dominion , Terramont, The Canyons and Spring Estates by Camp bullis . In addition, Rick has set up a residential construction project for his company to build an additional 8 to 25 for 2021 to 2023.

Rick Bruns road to success and growth for the company, has not been easy for Rick, beginning with Rick fleeing a country (Venezuela) from political unrest and taken over by a communist regime. At the age of 21, Rick came to United States with limited dollars in his pocket to begin a new life, which would eventually lead Rick to becoming a US citizen and now a successful construction and government contractor.

Ricks tenacity and continued drive to succeed through various programs with the SBA gave Rick the pathway to succeed. There were a lot of obstacles and up and downs in that path, but Rick kept his positivity, drive and ambition together, which actually brought the success that Rick Brun and his company are enjoying today. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, German Torres and Maria Cristina de Torres. Rick is survived by his father, Hector Ricardo Brun Martinez and mother, Maria Cristina Tomlinson and her husband, Henry Tomlinson; brother, Pedro Alejandro Brun Torres and his wife, Diana Brun; step-brother, Michael Tomlinson; niece and nephew, Daniel Alejandro Brun and Andrea Brun; aunts and uncles, Clara de Vargas, Patricia Marquez, German Torres, Camilo Torres, Fernando Torres, Felipe Torres.
