

Hector Saul Sandoval was born on October 6, 1929, in Roma, Texas, and passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, at the age of 96. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, dedication, and unconditional love for his family.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Hector honorably served his country before continuing his education through high school and community college. He was a hardworking and devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with those he loved.
Hector was preceded in death by his parents, Noe and Anita Sandoval; his wife, Aurora Sandoval; his daughter, Olga Gonzalez; his son-in-law, Andy Gonzalez; his grandsons, Richard Villarreal and Andrew Gonzalez; and his brothers, Noe Sandoval, Jr. and Rene Sandoval.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Gloria Cantu; his sons, Hector R. Sandoval (Susan Canales) and Gilbert Sandoval (Mary Sandoval); his daughters, Blanca Villarreal (Richard Villarreal) and Angela S. Raba (John Raba); his grandchildren, Christine Zygmont (Bryan Zygmont), Victoria Martinez (Eric Martinez), Stephanie Rodriguez (Aaron Rodriguez), Christopher Sandoval (Valeria Rosales), Lindsey Claire (Jose Guadalupe Claire IV), Adam Gonzalez, Hector O. Sandoval, and Sonny Sandoval; his great-grandchildren, Ariana Martinez, Andres Martinez, Kaylah Martinez, Cadence Zygmont, Caroline Zygmont, and Christian Sandoval; and his siblings, Robert Sandoval and Edna Martinez.
Hector will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family. His life was marked by a generous spirit that touched everyone who knew him. His love, wisdom, and cherished memories will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who were blessed to know him.
