Helen Rhea Dickson Carmichael

Helen R. Carmichael, beloved mother, died suddenly January 11, 2011. She was born in Devol, OK to Sylvia Rhea and Clint Dickson. Helen was a member of Alamo Heights Christian Church. She was energetic, creative and a versatile business woman who held numerous positions of trust as a corporate secretary, church secretary, office manager, marketing director, design and interior decorating consultant. Most recently she worked in jewelry sales, a position she loved.

Survivors include daughters, Nancy Carmichael Dixon and husband Jack and Caren Carmichael McGregor and husband Jim, Helen’s former husband Tom Carmichael, her beloved pet Chihuahua Dosi, and extended family including Rhonda Campbell (Dan) and Marisa Herold (Stuart). The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Tyler Burnett for his friendship and support and to Sally Grant for her care and her love of our mother.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm. at Sunset Funeral Home in San Antonio, TX. A reception will follow the service.
