Helen Levine Chasan, age 100, of San Antonio, died Friday, May 8, 2015. Mrs. Chasan was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Kalman Chasan; mother Dora Levine; father David Levine and her brother Irving Levine.
She was a member of Congregation Rodfei Sholom for well over 50 years. She had also been a member of Hadassah and the Sisterhood of Congregation Rodfei Sholom.
She is survived by sons David and Benjamin Chasan of San Antonio; grandson Michael D. Chasan; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Adelina "Ada" Blanco who has been her care giver and companion for the past eight years. Having her with Mrs. Chasan has indeed been a very special blessing.
