She was born in Denver, Colorado to parents, Marion and Olga Beatty.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willis E. Clay; son, Travis Wayne Boykin and sister, Margaret Goleman.
Helen is survived by daughters, M. Sherry and M. Lynn Boykin and son in law, Greg Baxley; grandchildren, Lance M. Gray, Marcus O. Gray and Andrea Gray; and six great grandchildren.
