Helen Margaret Potter, age 84, Of San Antonio, died on Wednesday, October 16, 2002. She was born October 17, 1917 in Danville, Illinois and moved to San Antonio with her family in 1921. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1936, married MSgt Thomas M. Potter on July 5, 1941, was a lifetime member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and member of Stone Oak Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Edward and Lona Parsons; husband, CMSgt Thomas Potter, USAF Ret.; daughter, Janis Potter; brother, Edward Parsons; and sister, Lona Grandberry. She is survived by her children, Thomas and Charles of San Antonio, Edward of Dripping Springs, and Nancy Sines of Statesboro, GA; brother, the Reverend Hugh Parsons of Houston; sister, Sue McRae of San Antonio; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren andcountless people she helped over the years by providing them with food and lodging at her house.
