She was born September 20, 1932, to Ray and Helen Owen.
A TWU graduate, she was a lifetime educator and avid reader who viewed life as a constant learning experience. Helen was a diehard Aggie fan, but more importantly was the love and faith she had for her family, God and Jesus Christ, which was unyielding throughout her life. When she touched your life, she made an impact and you knew it.
Dorchen, her beloved companion, will always miss her, as she will be deeply missed by us all. We love you Mom. Give Grandma and Dad a hug for us. Until we meet again, your loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John K. Richardson.
Helen is survived by her sons, Pat Richardson, DVM, John Michael Richardson and wife, Sandra; grandchildren, Brooke Nicole Davis, Justin Wayne and Emily Noel Richardson; great-grandchildren, Caden and Taylor.
Interment in Flower Mound, Texas will take place on a later date.
