Helen Rodriguez, better known to all of us as Grandma, Actually "old" Grandma. Obvious to say she will be missed, the loving Grandmother, Great Grandmother and of course, mother. She meant so much to each generation of our family the love she showed for all of us was strong, heart felt and sometimes tough. But she always had our best interests at heart. With an unrelenting work ethic, she would tirelessly pursue he passions of baking, gardening and maintaining the best grass on the block. No matter what she was doing it was with a strength and passion we could only hope to achieve. We usually couldn't match her standards and efforts, but we had to try. Don't get caught being lazy around her cause she would let you know it. But as passionate as she was for all that she did, it could not compare to the love she had for her family. her generous nature was always on display. She would give and give never asking for anything in return. Her love and kindness were a true gift to all of us. Now the time has come for you to move on from this world. The ones who have gone before you are awaiting your light and presence. Those of us left behind mourn and struggle to fill the void left in your absence. But we can not dwell on this loss, we will mourn the loss of your presence, But we may rejoice that you can rest now. Your work here is done. But your spirit lives on in our hearts, pushing us to live the best lives we can. To honor the extraordinary life you lived.

Rest in Peace Grandma

Old Grandma, I miss you so much. You always knew how to put a smile on my face and make me laugh. I miss seeing you after school and you would always ask me "How was my day?" and make a joke by saying, "How are the boys at school?". I miss you laughing after every time you said that. But one day we will meet up again. One day I will be able to see a smile across your face and get lots of hugs from you. I love you Old Grandma.

"Goodbyes are not forever, they are not the end, it simply means I'll miss you until we meet again"

Grandma I will miss you everyday. I will cherish all the memories we have made together. I will hold those dear to my heart. I'm blessed that my girls were able to make memories with you. The little things you did for them mean so much to them. You will always be close to our hearts. Until we meet again Grandma. I love you so much.
