With deep sorrow and endless love, we announce the passing of our precious son, Helios Jesus Gonzalez, who left us unexpectedly on May 16, 2025, at just 2 years and 5 months old. Born on December 18, 2022, Helios was a bright light in our lives—full of joy, courage, and love. Though he faced many medical challenges, including Down syndrome and heart defects that required two open-heart surgeries, Helios met each day with strength, resilience, and a beautiful spirit that touched everyone who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Carlos and Josephine Gonzalez; sister, Jovanah; brother, Ismael; grandmothers, Guadalupe and Maria; and grandfather, Manny G. Lopez. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hector Gonzalez. Helios was our sunshine and our angel. A celebration of his life will be held on June 1, 2025 at Sunset Funeral at 3.
