Henrietta Hernandez, lovingly known as "Queta", age 85, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend. She always worked to help provide for her family. Queta was a loyal caregiver to children and elderly friends. She stressed the importance of high education to her children.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benny and all her brothers and sisters.
Queta is survived by her children MaryLou, husband, Terry; Dolores, husband, Markus; and Ben; granddaughters Erica, husband, G.A.; Lisa, Jessica and husband, Luke; great granddaughters: Adrienne, Claire, Natalie and Ava; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30th beginning at 8:00 a.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel at Porter Loring on McCullough.
On Tuesday, March 31st, a Mass of the Resurrection will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3107 N. St. Mary's.
