'So many of us can recall how many times you would walk down the halls of BCSO you would hear or see Chief Martinez. His humor was not only in his words but also in his eyes. The Chief could carry on a full conversation with just his eyes and facial expressions. Not to mention he never took his hat off! Thank you for your commitment and dedication to so many officers throughout your life. We embrace your sweet family during this time with prayers and blessings!!! Through amazing grace you are welcomed!!!'

'My condolences Diana and family. Henry was a good man. He worked hard for what he believed in Law Enforcement. Henry was always there for anyone who needed help. I remember when we were elected BCSO association officers, he was President and I Treasurer. I was amazed when I first heard this man speak, he spoke with passion for what he felt was right and was due to Bexar County Law Enforcement. He never backed down, that was Henry. Even though he was Deputy Chief when I was assigned to Court Security, we were on a first name basis. I can still hear call me by that special name he had for me, which I won't mention. I hope his memories bring you comfort during this difficult time. Henry you will be missed tremendously by all who knew you. Rest in Peace my brother in blue. Until we see each other again.
