He was preceded in death by his first wife, Glenna Duke Hahn, and his son, Randall Hahn.
Herbert is survived by his wife, Joan H. Hahn; daughter, Robin Hahn-Moore and husband Curtis; granddaughter, Erin McLeod and husband Chase; stepchildren, Joseph Civiletto, Catherine Civiletto, Paul Civiletto and John Civiletto; six step-grandchildren and two step-granddaughters; and three step-great-grandchildren.
