Heriberto Lopez Perez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Heriberto L. Perez (Eddie), a devoted husband, loving father and cherished grandfather. Eddie went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving behind a legacy of love, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to his beloved wife and family.

Eddie’s devotion to his family was unparalleled. He was married to the love of his life, Carol, for 34 years. His unwavering support and endless affection for Carol were a source of inspiration to all who knew him.

As a father, Eddie was a guiding light, providing love and wisdom to his children Ursula, Joshua and Jonathan. He was always there with a helping hand or listening ear. Eddie’s greatest joy was becoming a grandfather, He loved on his grandchildren Ian Alexander, Jesus Aaron, Damien James, Adianna Rose and Ezekiel Jeremiah.

A man of simple pleasures, Eddie found happiness in the everyday moments spent with his family, reading, cooking and learning something new. Eddie’s legacy of love, selflessness, and dedication to family will forever remain in our hearts. Though he is no longer with us in person, his spirit lives on in the love he shared and the values he instilled in his family. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Eddie was born on August 1, 1962, in San Antonio, TX to Heriberto M. Perez and Maria De Socorro Lopez. Eddie is survived by his wife Carol Perez, Daughter Ursula, Sons Joshua (Anita) and Jonathan, Sister Mary Alice Flores (Gilbert), Brothers Marty Perez, Jorge Perez (Celia), John Perez (Ashley) Rene Nieto (Mayra), Mark Nieto, Daniel Nieto (Elizabeth), In-laws Robert & Erlinda Zamora, Brother/Sister in-law Albert & Michelle Hernandez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rest in peace, Eddie My Love. Your love will continue to guide and inspire us all.

A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 12pm and October 16, 2023 at 10am at Funeraria del Angel Trevino on 2525 Palo alto Rd, San Antonio, Tx 78211. Funeral Services will conclude at the funeral home.
