Growing up, my grandma would come over to my house and take my toys so that when I would visit her at her home I would have toys to play with. I remember being so frustrated at not being able to find my toys later in the week and coming up with plans to steal them back. It was a constant game of back and forth, though it wasn’t very fun for me at the time. It isn’t till now that I cherish those moments and will now send all my toys with my grandma to heaven so that when I come home to her when I am ready, we will have endless time and toys to play with.

Omg I was so sadden to hear that my longtime friend that I grew up with Hermelinda and (her kids )had pass away 
She was such a wonderful lady always receiving me  with open arms every time I would visit her I’d ask her do you remember me do you know who I am she’d look at me and say si yo nunca me olvido de  ti janie   And her and I would laugh and hug  I will dearly miss you Hermelinda  may you Rest In Peace my friend with all the angels in paradise I’ll always have you in my heart love you

I didn’t talk to my tia as much but I know she was a great aunt, grandmother, and mother to everyone.

We took my mom and Marisol to Luby's for their bday dinner.  My mom was so elated that she whispered to Marisol, "lets pick any slice of cake we want because it is our birthday dinner!"

Mi mamita linda. My beautiful mom. This is how we blew out candles during Covid and she followed the rule.  She was an amazing women who thought us life by example. Te quiero mucho mamita.

She was so proud of being able to vote. She wouldn’t let me not let her cast her vote in the Trump/Biden presidential election.   Her determination to exercise her right to vote is one of many virtues she imbedded me.  Thank you mom for teaching me life. Te quiero mucho mamita. 

She loved spending time with her family. She shared stories and jokes until the end. Love and miss her so much. 

My grandma's favorite thing to snack on was Cheeto's, or so I'd like to believe. She always had a jumbo, family size bag that we would share on the couch and watch Caso Cerrado. Occasionally, she would grab the Cheeto's that I would suck the cheese off and put back in the bag. Sorry Grandma, I didn't do it to be mean. 

She will forever be the grandma that got me into putting too much sugar in my coffee and I will miss her greatly.
