

Minnie was a devoted woman whose life was marked by service and involvement. She was a proud lifetime member of VFW Post 4700, a member of Catholic War Veterans Post 1907, and a former member of the Prospect Hill Yellow Jackets Little League Ladies Auxiliary. During her career at Kelly Air Force Base, she was the recipient of several awards recognizing her outstanding job performance and achievements.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, dancing, cooking for her family (especially her grandchildren), and spending time at the casinos. Minnie loved playing pool, bingo, and poker, and she was well known for hosting lively open house holiday parties filled with music and laughter. Gifted with a beautiful singing voice, she enjoyed all kinds of music and especially loved singing along with mariachis when they played at her table at La Margarita, one of her favorite places.
Above all, Minnie was a woman of deep faith who loved God and her family wholeheartedly. Her warmth, strength, and joyful spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ramiro Moreno; and her daughter, Gloria Reyes; her parents, Guadalupe M. and Eliza Rodriguez; her brothers, Antonio Rodriguez and Francisco Rodriguez; and her sister, Elida Rodriguez.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Mary Louise Aguilar, Norma (Roy) Hernandez, and Linda (Jon) DeLuna-Howard; her son-in-law, Tony Reyes; her cherished grandchildren, Richard (Pam) Reyes, Deborah (Paul) Gallardo, Jennifer (Frank) Nettnin, Michael (Kelly) Reyes, Jason (Danielle) Hernandez, Matt (Marissa) Hernandez, Megan (John) Boyer, and Alyx (Phillip) Howard-Corwin; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Eliza, Lee, Nicole, Frankie, Amber, Canon, Sadie, and Nolan.
Minnie lived most of her life in San Antonio before moving to Arlington, Texas in 2021. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, generosity, and the beautiful memories she created with her family and friends.
There will be a Visitation on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with the Rosary recited at 7:00 pm held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. Services will resume on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 with our doors opening at 8:00 am, we will then go in procession for a 9:30 am Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2610 Perez St, San Antonio, TX 78207, followed by a Committal with an 11:30 am arrival at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
