Hilda Pena Gonzalez of Laredo and San Antonio, died on February 23, 2002. She is preceded in death by her parents Leonor Gracia de Pena and Ignacio Pena Riojas; by her daughter, Hilda Angelica Gonzalez and by her husband of 54 years, Ricardo Gonzalez Lozano. She is survived by: her sister, Hermila P. Gutierrez and husband, Fernando; sister, Heber Hileana Garcia and husband, Mark. They will miss her dearly. Also, her two sons, Richard G. Gonzalez, Robert Gonzalez and wife, Rebecca; her granddaughter, Novae Moser and husband, Victor; great-grandchildren, Madeleine and Alexander. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews; along with many friends from Laredo Martin High School, where she was a passionate Biology professor for many years. Her family would like to thank all of her dear friends of Blessed Sacrament Church for their love and prayers. Also, we would like to acknowledge the kindness and dear support of Santa Rosa Hospice staff, nurses and aides, as well as the thoughtful assistance by home care aides and staff of the HomeInstead Agency. We wish her peaceful rest and the loving embrace of our Lord.
