Hilda Saenz

Hilda Saenz was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was defined by love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto and Maria Saenz; her brother, Gilberto Saenz Jr.; her sisters, Yolanda Sierra, Blanca Garcia, and Maria de Jesus Resendiz; and her cherished grandson, Alex David Navarro.

She is survived by her loving children: Arcedalia Amaya; Reynold Amaya; Sonya Amaya, with grandchildren Brenda and Ricky Vasquez, Alejandrina and Danny Aguirre; Sorayda Sibrian; Hilda Veronica Navarro DeLaCerda and her wife, Dela, with grandchildren Samantha Guerrero, Anthony Botello, and Gaige and Ryan Torres; and Alex Navarro and his wife Patricia, with grandchildren Giovanni and Demetri Navarro, Ana Marie, Ashley, and Destiny Navarro, and Felicia Cortez. She also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.

Throughout her life, Hilda worked as a housekeeper and caregiver, touching many lives with her kindness, dedication, and gentle spirit. She found joy in sewing, relaxing in the water, and had a deep passion for music and dance. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, which brought her the greatest happiness.

Hilda will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved and cared for, and her memory will be cherished forever.

A visitation will be held at Sunset North Funeral Home, located at 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232, on January 20, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM.

The funeral service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 4603 St John's Way, San Antonio, TX 78212, on January 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

The committal service will follow at Wetmore Community Cemetery, 15041 Higgins Rd, San Antonio, TX 78217, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM on January 21, 2026.
